Leadership & Team Development
- Lead and inspire a high-performing team of SOC analysts, incident responders, and threat hunters.
- Build a culture centred on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Implement robust training and career development plans to nurture talent and strengthen retention.
- Define and execute the SOC’s strategic direction in alignment with wider business and cybersecurity objectives.
- Enhance threat detection, escalation, and response processes to maintain best-in-class capabilities.
- Collaborate closely with IT, compliance, risk, and other key stakeholders to ensure seamless integration across security operations.
- Set and monitor KPIs and service-level objectives to measure SOC effectiveness.
- Oversee budget planning, resource management, and cost-optimisation initiatives.
- Lead decision-making on SOC tooling, automation, and workflow optimisation to maximise coverage and efficiency.
- Deliver executive-level reporting on SOC performance, key threat trends, and major incidents.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and frameworks, maintaining audit readiness across all SOC activities.
