Cloud Security Architect – AI Scale-Up | Remote U.S. (HQ: NYC)

We’re hiring on behalf of an AI-driven scale-up backed by significant VC investment. With explosive growth ahead and an ambitious roadmap, they’re hiring a Cloud Security Architect to embed security into the core of their multi-cloud environment and help shape their cloud-first, AI-enabled future.

What you’ll be doing:

• Designing cloud-native security architecture across AWS/GCP environments

• Embedding security into DevOps processes, pipelines, and containerized deployments

• Working directly with engineering and product teams to threat model and build security into new features

• Defining security policies, standards, and automation to support rapid scaling

• Advising leadership on cloud risk posture and influencing secure platform evolution

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years of hands-on cloud security experience in fast-paced or high-growth tech environments

• Deep knowledge of cloud security services (IAM, VPC, KMS, WAF, EDR, etc.) and DevSecOps best practices

• Experience securing Kubernetes, serverless, and microservices architectures

• Proactive, self-starter mindset with strong collaboration skills

• AWS or GCP certification a plus; startup or scale-up experience preferred
