As a Big Data Architect you would be joining their award winning data and analytics department, in the focus area of Big Data, which is currently expanding due to high demand for their expertise in end to end solutions for public sector projects.

Responsibilities

• Advising customers right from the requirements assessment, conception, implementation and testing to going live, if necessary also application support.
• You would be identifying competitive advantages through information for customers as an overall architect and coordinator at the interface between professionalism and technology.
• Your tasks will also include the development of big data and data science use cases.
• Design professionally and technically first-class BI & Advanced Analytics solutions in terms of architecture, data modeling, and integration, key figure systems and performance management applications.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, mathematics, economics or other relevant degrees.
• Experience in recording business requirements or in the business and technical conception of big data architectures.
• Programming experience in at least one of these languages: Python, Java, Scala.
• Experience in the application of agile methods, preferably Scrum.
• Experience with successfully implementing DevOps projects and familiarity with technologies such as pipelines, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Fluent German and English language skills.
