Senior DevOps Engineer (Stavanger) 

We are thrilled to present an exceptional career opportunity for a seasoned Senior DevOps Engineer to join our client's IIoT enterprise based in Stavanger. In this pivotal role, you will assume a leadership position in guiding the design, implementation, and upkeep of the fundamental architecture and operational frameworks supporting our clients' IIoT solutions.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will lead collaborative efforts with multidisciplinary teams, including development, operations, and quality assurance. Your foremost responsibility will involve ensuring the seamless deployment, functionality, and oversight of applications. Drawing upon your expertise, you will play a critical role in optimizing efficiency and reliability throughout the deployment lifecycle, thus upholding peak performance standards and robust monitoring practices.


  • Design, implement, and maintain the infrastructure and systems required for solutions, including but not limited to: cloud-based platforms, databases, networking, and security.

  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth and efficient deployment of applications, including continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, automated testing, and release management.

  • Develop and implement automation scripts, tools, and processes to improve efficiency and scalability of systems.

  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior members of the DevOps team.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, provide technical expertise, and drive DevOps best practices across the organization.


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a focus on cloud-based solutions and IIoT.

  • Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, or Google Cloud, including infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

  • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and release management practices.

  • Proficient in scripting and automation using tools such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.

  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.

  • Strong understanding of networking, security, and monitoring principles.

  • Fluent Norwegian language (written and spoken) is required.
