Mulesoft Architect

My client are a rapid-growth, Salesforce consultancy scale-up organisation and as part of their continual growth plan, they are recruiting into their Italian business.

 

They are currently seeking a Mulesoft Architect to join the team remotely from anywhere in Italy. In this role, you will work on Italian and international client projects with the following responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership: Oversee and direct MuleSoft team activities, acting as the primary technical liaison for both clients and internal teams.
  • Architectural Design: Develop scalable and reliable integration solutions using MuleSoft, focusing on complex, mission-critical projects.
  • Documentation: Convert business requirements into comprehensive and precise technical and functional documentation.
  • Collaboration: Partner with development teams, stakeholders, and clients to ensure projects align with business needs and objectives.
  • System Integration: Lead and improve integrations with ERP systems like SAP and Salesforce, ensuring smooth data flow and process efficiency.
  • Innovation: Identify and propose improvements to current processes and solutions, suggesting new technologies and methods to enhance integrations.

 

The successful applicant will be a match for the following criteria:

  • Language Skills: Native/fluent Italian-language speaker with fluency in English, capable of effectively communicating with both colleagues and clients in an international setting.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years as a MuleSoft Team Leader, specializing in integration architecture design.
  • Certifications: Certified as a MuleSoft Developer and MuleSoft Architect (MPA or MIA).
  • Technical Competence: Expertise in SOAP and REST, with familiarity in SFTP, file integrations, SQL, and authentication protocols.
  • SAP/SF Integration: Hands-on experience with integration projects involving SAP and Salesforce.
  • Documentation: Proficient in converting business requirements into detailed technical and functional documentation.
  • Bonus Experience: Prior experience with RPA tools is an advantage.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical abilities, capable of resolving complex integration challenges.
  • Change Management: Skilled in managing transitions and adopting new technologies and methodologies with ease.
  • Soft Skills: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team toward success.
  • Experience with Modern Architectures: Knowledge of microservices-based architectures and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Best Practices: Well-versed in security and governance best practices to ensure secure and compliant solutions.
