Role Overview:
As the Country Manager – Sweden, you will lead the development and execution of Cognizant’s business strategy in Sweden. This key leadership role will focus on driving revenue growth, managing a profitable P&L, and building high-performance teams. You will work closely with senior leadership to shape and deliver large-scale, transformational deals for our clients, while growing Cognizant’s brand and presence in Sweden. Additionally, you will hold the dual role as the Head of MLEU Vertical in Sweden, capitalizing on the immense potential in this area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive Growth: Lead efforts to meet and exceed Cognizant’s growth expectations by shaping large, transformational deals and delivering holistic solutions to clients across industries.
- Leadership & Culture: Foster a high-performance culture and promote diversity and inclusion within your teams.
- Cross-Selling & Service Offering Growth: Ensure the broad portfolio of services, including consulting, digital services, application services, BPO, and infrastructure services, is effectively cross-sold and driven to clients.
- Client Relationships: Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships at the CXO level, managing strategic accounts to help clients achieve their business goals.
- P&L Management: Take ownership of the P&L, with a primary focus on commercial efforts, including sales strategies, account growth, deal closures, and relationship management.
- Team Development: Support and strengthen the client partner, sales executive, and customer relationship manager teams, ensuring success in both client acquisition and account management.
The Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for an industry leader with proven experience in driving business growth and managing complex P&Ls. The successful candidate will bring:
- 20+ years of experience in IT services, including at least 5 years of leadership experience managing large geographical or client-level P&Ls.
- A proven track record of successfully exceeding sales and profitability targets in the IT services sector.
- Strong experience in digital transformation and building high-performing, diverse teams and cultures.
- Extensive experience in managing senior-level relationships with Fortune 500 clients and serving as a trusted advisor.
- Expertise in MLEU, spanning both technology and business themes, particularly within Cognizant’s key sectors: BFSI, CMT, Healthcare, Manufacturing, and High Tech.
- Financial acumen and proven ability to manage costs, profitability, and multi-tower deals in complex environments.
- M&A experience is a plus, including strategy, integration, and delivering ROI.
