Position Overview: They are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Consultant with a deep expertise in Hyper-V to join the dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing virtualized infrastructure solutions that align with their SMB clients' business needs. You will play a key part in helping organizations modernize their IT landscape, maximize their investment in Microsoft technologies, and ensure seamless operational performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement Hyper-V environments, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security for our SMB clients.
- Conduct assessments of existing infrastructure and provide strategic recommendations for improvement and modernization.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into effective infrastructure solutions.
- Lead migration projects to Hyper-V from other virtualization platforms or legacy systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to virtualization, networking, and storage.
- Develop and document best practices for Hyper-V deployment and maintenance.
- Provide technical guidance and training to client IT teams, enabling them to manage their virtual environments effectively.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Infrastructure Consultant, IT Engineer, or similar role with a focus on virtualization.
- Expertise in Microsoft Hyper-V, including deployment, configuration, and management.
- Strong understanding of Windows Server, Active Directory, and other Microsoft technologies.
- Experience with network architecture, storage solutions, and disaster recovery planning.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and address infrastructure issues.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
