ESM Business Consultant (ServiceNow Focus)

Remote (with occasional travel to client sites)

Position Overview: They are seeking a dynamic and experienced ESM Business Consultant with a strong focus on ServiceNow to join our team. The ideal candidate will be fluent in German and possess a deep understanding of IT Service Management processes, with a background in service management tooling. This role will primarily involve working closely with our clients to understand their business needs, analyse processes, and implement effective solutions utilising ServiceNow and other relevant platforms.


  • Collaborate with clients to assess their business requirements and translate them into actionable solutions using ServiceNow and other tools.
  • Conduct workshops and meetings with stakeholders to gather requirements, define workflows, and design solutions.
  • Configure and customize ServiceNow platform to meet client specifications, ensuring alignment with best practices and industry standards.
  • Provide expertise in ITIL, DevOps, AGILE process management, and Cybersecurity to enhance client processes and practices.
  • Work closely with both technical and functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet client expectations.
  • Travel to client sites as needed to facilitate workshops, meetings, and project implementations.


  • Fluent in German and proficient in English (written and verbal)
  • 3+ years of experience working as a consultant, preferably in the IT Service Management space.
  • Strong understanding of IT Service Management processes and methodologies (ITIL certification is a plus).
  • Experience with ServiceNow platform configuration and customization.
  • Knowledge of DevOps, AGILE process management, and Cybersecurity principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients and internal teams.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
