The business is looking for a Data Engineering Manager.

Key Skills & Experience Required

• Provide technical leadership and people management for the engineering team responsible for company-level data warehouse and big data systems

• Create a technical strategy for architecting, building, and operating a cost-effective and performant data architecture, spanning from stream sources to analytical storage and query engines.

• Demonstrated ability to understand quickly the business and technical requirements of a data pipeline that needs to be developed.

• Design and implement alerting and monitoring services to accurately and efficiently debug and resolve failures in real-time

• Experience with Data Engineering tools such as - Google Bigquery - Apache Spark - Airflow - Kafka - ETL processes
