About the Role:
Our client, a national utilities provider, are seeking an AI Applications Engineer to create intelligent systems that optimise the delivery of essential services. The company is modernising its infrastructure and adopting AI to improve energy efficiency, resilience, and customer experience.

You will design and implement models for areas such as demand forecasting, infrastructure monitoring, and predictive maintenance. The role requires both strong technical skills and the ability to work with operational teams to ensure solutions are practical and effective. This is an opportunity to work on high-impact projects that play a role in shaping the future of the utilities sector.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and optimise AI models for production systems.

• Work closely with crossfunctional teams to deliver scalable AI-driven applications.

• Contribute to AI research initiatives and adopt new techniques into live projects.

• Ensure compliance with ethical AI standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Strong background in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

• Experience with Python and at least one major ML framework.

• Proven record of deploying AI models into production environments.

• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
